Let's hear it for the boys

It seems the trend that Russell Brand made famous all those seasons ago, is now making a comeback. When Sass and Bide first launched their Black Rats leggings, Brand was one of its' biggest fans and was spotted wearing them all over London. As I was browsing through The Sartorialist I found these images of another male S&B fan, sporting a pair of the label's embelished leggings. Not only is this such a rare sight, being a womens label and all, he is flaunting his styling skills by teaming them with a fur jacket and patent, studded shoes!

This outfit is seriously pulling all my heart strings.

A wedding, reunion and a debut

This weekend I went to an old family friend's wedding in beauitful Warick. I hadn't seen the Hills' girls in over 8 or so years and it was so exciting to finally reunite at their mother's wedding. Not only was it an opportunity for me to catch up on some serious girlie gossip with my childhood friends, but it also gave me the chance to FINALLY wear the Shakuhachi Cape Dress, that has been sitting in my wardrobe screaming out to be worn since christmas. It was such a beautiful dress to wear and I couldn't have picked a more appropriate occassion to show it off, than Bec and Mark's wedding. I teamed it with my Knot Drop earrings from Mimco and a pair of nude wedges from David Jones.

All in all, the weekend was an absolute blast and I couldn't of asked for a better debut for my Shakuhachi.
