OH BOY! There is not much more I can say about the new SS collection for the Aussie duo. Yes, I am a long time devotee of the label but anyone who appreciates the clever use of colour and draping can obviously understand why I am ever so in love with these garments. Sarah-Jane and Heidi, you have won my heart... AGAIN!

YEDP 2011: SOOT.

One of the featured emerging designers that will be gracing the runway on Tuesday night at YEDP. She may be young, but Edwina Sinclair is well and truly on her way to becoming one of the most talked about designers to ever come out of Brisbane. Having just opened her first concept store in James St, Fortitude Valley, I have no doubts that this young, fresh and full of potential label will have little trouble making its' mark on the rest of the fashion world.

Young Emerging Designers Party 2011

Hello August! That time of the year when fashion is the word on the street here in Brisbane. Not only is the annual Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival going to be filling up our mid-August schedules, but so is the Young Emerging Designers Party (YEDP).

This fashion-forward event, hosted by Felix & Slink, in parternship with none other than, Vogue.com.au, will showcase some of our city's most talented up and coming designers, including Batson., SOOT and Zhou. With the party taking on a Brazillian feel, expect to be dazzled by pop colours and a balmy atmosphere.

In five months, three of my best friends and I are embarking on our very own European Escapade. With it being winter and most likely -1000 degrees (yes, of course I am exaggerating) over there, I am on the hunt for a beautiful new coat to keep me warm and I absolutely love these by Sonia Rykiel and Moschino. I feel by choosing a bright pop colour, I'll be able to hold onto a little bit of the Australian summer whilst roaming the cold streets of England, Ireland, France and Italy.
