Last night was of course the highly anticipated James Street and Marie Claire Up Late event and Brisbane's fashion hub was flourishing with colour, excitement and goodie bags. The champagne was flowing, the celebrities were out in force and I'd have to say there were almost more Canons and Nikons on the street, than there were cars! Highlight of the night was meeting Jackie Frank and Camilla Franks and being asked by Pamela Easton if she could take mine and my sisters photo on her iPhone... Starstruck much? I think so! All in all, great night for fashion, networking and most importantly shopping! Cannot wait for the next one! Kudos to you James Street... Your gang did an incredible job!

Okay guys, have you seen how you both look together, let alone separately? It's ridiculous, honestly. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for this "relationship made in heaven"... I really am, but there is only so much a girl can take, you know!

Firstly, you are both so flipping chic! Every time I see a photo of you two, I almost need a paper bag to breathe in, to calm my excitement. 

Secondly, your babies are going to be on another level of amazing. I find it highly unfair that you can wake up every morning and know that. It's actually unbelievable.

Thirdly, did I mention that your relationship is one that was hand picked by God himself. I am legit when I say this... I see photos of you both and I feel like someone (probably God) has poured gold into my eye sockets. True story.

So basically, I love you guys... For real!

For those of you who constantly wonder who Walter and Kitty are, this is Walter.

Yes, you're absolutely right! This is in fact, Edward Norton. Amazing actor, handsome man and now the face of the LG and Prada campaign.

His work in The Painted Veil, alongside Naomi Watts (Kitty), is the inspiration behind this blog's name. For those of you who have not had the pleasure of watching this film, I suggest you leave work/uni/whatever it is you are doing right this minute and go and rent it out... Seriously worth the fuss!

To celebrate the release of the 200th edition of Marie Claire Magazine, Jackie Frank and her team have joined forces with Brisbane's fashion society on James Street, to host another Up Late soiree.

With the last one proving to be a massive hit, there's no doubt that this one will be the 'talk-of-the-town' event for many months to come.

The evening will feature in store appearances from sass & bide's Heidi Middleton, Easton Pearson's Pamela Easton and Lydia Pearson, kaftan queen Camilla Franks and none other than the Editor of Marie Claire Magazine, Jackie Frank.

If you want to rub shoulders with Brisbane's fash-pack, along with the above, I suggest you either highlight, asterisk or fold the corner of the page for March 29th in your diary, because this night is not to be missed.
