A journey through colour

On Friday night, my friend's mother, Kim Noon, had her opening night for her art exhibition, "A journey through colour". It was an assortment of paintings and pure silk dresses, which were all hand painted by Noon, herself. As one of the lucky models on the night, I had the honour of showcasing the beautiful leopard print kaftan that is seen above. The exhibition will be going for another two weeks at the White Canvas Gallery in Fortitude Valley, so make sure you get down there and experience these amazing pieces of work for yourself!

Winter wonderland.

One of my good friends Allie, is having a winter wonderland themed 21st and all guests are to wear white and/or some shade of ivory. Finding a white dress is going to be a mission in itself, but trying to find a white dress, in Brisbane, that won't also be worn by someone else on the night, is a whole other story! So I have decided that I am going to wear pants, some sort of tapered or wide-leg ensemble that could easily be worn again and fail to date. However the problem is, is that this is Brisbane and as much as I adore the cute and emerging fashion scene that this city has, it is highly frustrating when everyone is going to be shopping for the same outfit and for the same occassion/event. I suppose this just calls for a spontaneous Sydney or Melbourne trip but boy it would be nice to have the same set of options up here in the sunshine state...

Oh Hanneli

I love a good sweater and denim combo and Hanneli is working it amazingly! Obviously Australia is going into winter but pull on a pair of stockings underneath those shorts and chuck on a pair of suede wedges and you'll be laughing.
